i love going for live music stuff, concerts, music festivals, experiences. i collect these experiences like they're pokemon

good news: india's live music scene is popping off lately, something is literally happening every day

bad news: a lot of cognitive overload keeping up with all the announcements across multiple ticketing platforms, decision fatigue, fomo

two months ago i quietly started building a side project to solve it. no agenda, i just wanted to scratch the itch of wanting to build something for myself.

i started off with this idea of an event aggregator - something i used to maintain in my notes app - that can simply scrape, parse and organize all the fun events in a easy to access list. like a resident advisor / bandsintown but for delhi.

it's called sc3ne (www.sc3ne.in)

every concert, comedy show, festival, gig, theatre night, in one place. curated.

only the good kind of noise.

built and deployed the live mvp in one night. then just slowly kept refining it over the weekends. it was such a pleasure designing the interface as well. inspired by the matrix.

its technical under the hood too, not vibeslop!

it has an ai pipeline that parses info, event posters directly form the sites, or screenshots for six different platforms including District, BookMyShow, SkillBox, Fever, and even Instagram, an auto-categorization layer that tags every event by vibe and genre, you have favoriting, you have filters. i built internal tools for myself to create social media graphics for the isntagram page, i even built an api for the events db management and access.

i cannot even comprehend that claude code and i just cooked it. being a product person has never felt so empowering.

two years ago this would have taken a small team six months.

so yeah, you can literally just do things. go build something that makes you happy, and looks dope in the process. 🫡

you don't need a co-founder. you don't need permission. you don't need a launch plan. you don't need to know if it'll work. you don't even need it to be good yet. you can just sit with your laptop, fire up your llm of choice and start.
