Pinterest's 2023 trend predictions predictions

People use Pinterest to save interesting things that are up and coming. That means they may on to what’s next. They also mentioned that, for the last three years, 80% of their report predictions came true.

There is a lot of interesting stuff that people are pinning more than usual, and it seems that these are the trends that may become popular this year.

Pool parties for puppies
Mushroom and fungi shaped decor
Old school date nights - bookstore, aquariums, picnics
Sustainable travelling via trains
Sea based superfoods like algae, seaweed
Alternative therapies - like writing, art, music, journaling

I always wondered how Pinterest can add value to businesses, and this makes sense. Especially for physical service or physical product based businesses. They can latch on to these trends and pivot or enhance their offerings for the year.

For example, if you are running a bookstore, you could have some events that would foster a good date experience. Or if you are running marketing for a train company, you could promote more sustainable travelling among the groups that are following these trends.
