Drive to survive

Okay so people have two types of opinions about F1, they have either been following it for a long time and are intensely passionate about the sport. OR, it's just a bunch of fast cars, and you don't give a fuck about it. Netflix and F1 teamed up, in a brilliant marketing ploy, to make you give a fuck.

Like me, I'm sure you didn't know much about F1, probably heard Lewis Hamillton's name but that's it. It's just a race right? WRONG.

F1 is a business, F1 is drama, and F1 is exhilarating. Most of the fun stuff about this sport happens behind the scenes, in the pit stops, in the conference rooms, and inside the cockpit. (Places we don't normally see during the race itself).

Drive to survive, is very beautifully crafted to show you those moments, help you understand the sport and business behind it, make you care about even the teams and drivers that come in last through candid interviews, and let you make your own decision about who you want to support.

It's as good as a drama series, but the best part is it's happening real time. Drive to survive season 1 covered the 2018 season. I watched it over the summer due, and was already invested in the 2019 season.
