Super underrated TV timeeeee⁣ ⁣ Atlanta is Donald Glover's (aka Childish Gambino) and Hiro Murai's (Music Video legend) masterpiece of a show. To explain it to someone is hard. I really want to know what Donald was smoking when he thought of this show because it is WOKE AS FUH. ⁣ ⁣ Atlanta follows the lives of Earn (Glover), Al aka Paper Boi (Brian Tree Henry) and Darius (Lakeith Stanfield) as they navigate through the subtle and not so subtle racism and the intersection between African-American, American and Rap culture. It's very smartly written and directed. Like you sometimes just watch something and are left shook at how good it was. ⁣ ⁣ I would also say some themes of this show are just surreal, but also depict how messed up our times today are. It's a great inside look into the rap and music industry. ⁣ ⁣ Also I forgot to mention it's FUNNY AS HELL. ⁣ ⁣ It's not a surprise that this show has won a bunch of Emmys and Golden Globes as well. I just binged the second season again, and it's still as fresh and relevant. Go watch. ⁣
