FLETCHER calls herself an anti-pop star. Listening to her new EP 'You Ruined NYC for Me' pretty much sums it up. It's basically an album dedicated hating the person she used to love, but in a very millenial way. She sings well that's a given, but her lyrics are spicy on the hate, sex, regrets, and all that jazz, under the setting of New York City the city that never sleeps. The music is a good mix of pop and electro. And the album name throws mad shade on its own. I personally heard some of her singles earlier, but didn't really get into it until I heard her cover Post Malone's 'I Fall Apart', which is pretty much the magnum opus of these types of songs, (that girl really did my boy dirty) Once I understood her vibe, the album made so much sense. I'm quite happy that good pop music is still around, especially with the trend shifting towards more chill vibey bedroom pop, she's a good addition to your playlists, especially if you're feeling love/hate for that certain someone 🤫 Must listens: All Love, Undrunk, If You're Gonna Lie, I Fall Apart Check her out on my stories! #fletcher #album #pop #anti-pop #music #newyork #postmalone
