This show is indescribable. If I told you a show about a half-horse, half human, washed up Hollywood star and his friends has more depth than the Pacific Ocean. Would you believe me? ⁣ ⁣ Hold your feels tightly, because this is a bumpy, depressing, introspective, but cathartic ride. The 6th and final season of Bojack Horseman arrives on Netflix next week, and this show has really set the standard for TV for me. It shows me that writing can be funny but depressing at the same time, characters can be developed to a great deal with the right storylines, and cartoons can make you feel major emotions. ⁣ ⁣ The voice acting cast is on point as Will Arnett takes on Bojack, the washed up, alcoholic, lovable and hateable horse-human. Allison Brie is Diane, a broken feminist writer, trying to find her way around Hollywoo (yes without the D, you'll know if you see the show). Aaron Paul is Todd, the wacky misfit who keeps getting into trouble but is a cutie. Amy Sedaris and Paul F Tompkins round out the stellar cast by playing Princess Carolyn and Mr. Peanutbutter respectively. ⁣ ⁣ The guest stars in the show are no less, Lisa Kudrow, Rami Malek, Jessica Biel, Daniel Radcliffe, JK Simmons, John Krasinski, Keegan Michael Key, Ricky Gervais and so many more lend their voices to interesting characters all throughout the show. How much more credibility do you want fam? ⁣ ⁣ This show is EXTREMELY well crafted, the humour is smart, the animal puns are on point, the satire is too honest and the depression is real. Some of the visuals are breathtaking, and some episode concepts are refreshing, for example, there is one which is shot in an underwater town, so it has no dialogue. One episode is just a 25 minute monologue. Sometimes it's trippy, sometimes is scary. Sometimes just sad, and sometimes happy. I cannot reccomend any show more highly. That's it. Go watch it, maybe with friends so you have some support. Come discuss season 6 with me once you're done. #bojack #netflix #horsinaround
