Going to squeeze in a quick post about Cosmo's Midnight. I found out about them as they were supposed to play in Clockenflap HK, which I was going to go to, but it got rightfully cancelled due to the political situation. But I guess I was lucky because I caught them in a small club in Tokyo for a 1 am helluva show. Cosmo's are twin brothers from Sydney. I would describe their music as electro-pop vibey, and even though the industry is cluttered with producers and DJ's right now, there is definitely authenticity in their sound which I would attribute to the use of real instruments in the production. Even in their performance, they played the bass and drums live and they had their friend Esta on vocals, it was a damn good, tight show. I felt some Daft Punk influences. My favourite song from them is Have It All, and I have been bumping that song every morning since last week while I walk to work. It's such a great pick me up. Their discography is a little small, but all of their songs are worth a listen (or multiple). If you see them performing in your city, I highly reccomend going, it's a different experience watching smaller artists in a small venue with a crowd that's actually passionste about their music. Check out - History, Have It All, Can You Dig It, Talk to Me, Where You Been, Lowkey
