Silicon Valley is what Big Bang Theory could have been like, if BBT was actually good. ⁣ ⁣ A show about some coders trying to start a company… Sound boring? NOT.⁣ ⁣ Silicon Valley is into its 6th and final season this year with the finale episode coming this Sunday, and boy has it been a ride. HBO always hits their stuff out of the park. ⁣ ⁣ Created by Mike Judge (If you have seen Office Space, you already know what’s up, if you haven’t, SHAME ON YOU!), this show follows Richard, Gilfoyle, Dinesh, Jared and Eric as they try to survive in the valley with their company Pied Piper. Some of my friends in the valley have told me, this show is so real, it isn’t even meant to be funny, this is just how shit runs there. ⁣ ⁣ It is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen in my life. It makes me lol all the time and I don’t mean breathing out your nose lol, but literally laughing out loud, to the point people around me sometimes become uncomfortable. The humor is no holds barred, but super smartly written. ⁣ ⁣ Each character in the show brings their own interesting quirk and humor, and the amazing acting in this show has definitely propelled the careers of so many, especially Kumail Nanjiani, TJ Miller etc. Some of the side and recurring characters performances are so insane, they really propel the show higher than it already is.⁣ ⁣ I specifically want to applaud the tech consultants of the show, because the way they take the latest tech trends and happenings and apply it to the show to make it so funny, but still legitimate is seriously worth some praise. ⁣ ⁣ If you are in the tech community, or just want to watch something hilarious, but also super smart and well made, go watch this, you won’t regret it.
